On October 16, 2024, we filed suit on behalf of Ashley Roti against the Chicago Park District for refusing to answer four simple FOIA requests for email logs. The Park District combined Ashley’s requests in order to deny them as being ‘unduly burdensome’ to process despite a lack of any legal basis for doing this.
